Inku Feature Requests

Adding a game like feature where there are unlockable characters, each with back stories to unlock through use. Like getting closer to your avatar or building their experience. Maybe earning energy by accomplishing tasks or focus sessions which you can use to go dungeon raiding or something.

Some kind of customizable habit tracker

A collaboration feature that enables users to work together on tasks and games, create, manage, and share events, and facilitate discussion threads for planning. This will transform Inku from a personal tool into a dynamic collaborative platform, with a potential to be revolutionary. This feature will not only elevate user engagement but also position Inku as a leader in collaborative digital solutions, transforming how people organize their lives. Details: 1. Shared Task and Game Management: Users can create and assign tasks or participate in collaborative games, fostering teamwork and engagement. 2. Event Creation and Sharing: Allow users to easily create events that can be shared with others, simplifying coordination and planning. 3. Discussion Threads: Implement dedicated discussion threads for each project or event, enabling users to communicate, share ideas, and make decisions in one central location. 4. Real-Time Updates: Provide real-time notifications for task assignments, event changes, and new messages in discussion threads to keep all participants informed.

Adding a gamification element to the Inku calendar that incorporates competitive ranking, social sharing, and collaboration features will not only enhance user engagement but also foster a sense of community among users. Details: 1. Gamification Elements: Introduce a points system where users earn points for completing tasks such as drinking water or clocking 5000 steps a day(link to health app), attending events, and achieving personal goals. 2. Competitive Ranking: Create a leaderboard that displays users’ rankings (among friends/globally/locally). This adds a fun competitive element, motivating users to stay engaged and complete their tasks. 3. Social Sharing: Allow users to share their achievements, points, and rankings on social media platforms. This encourages others to join the Inku community and promote Inku for business sustainability.

It would be great to have a pomodoro timer or similar function to help with visual time keeping to maintain focus on tasks - this could also be integrated with mindfulness breaks, etc.

Another person here suggested being able to import calendars from Canvas which is one thing I've been wanting. The big tie-in is being able to specifically create items that have a due date. It's a little much agenda-wise to just make an assignment an all-day thing or something like that, and as a junior engineering student, assignments are the bread and butter of my life. It would be nice to, say, create a task for an assignment that's due next week, with customizable reminder options (optional), while being able to mark it off whenever I complete the assignment.

Lock Screen widget for iOS. The current widget seems to work great, would be nice to have the same widget on the Lock Screen.

Can we add official support for handling certain languages ? If not for the UI possibly for just the calendar/todo content in the AI layer (should be easy to handle this)

It would be great to be able to set up 2 (or a few) users within the family.

The possibility to add reminders for upcoming events, that are further away. Like a reminder for upcoming birthdays or exams ahead of time, perhaps a week or month (like a sticky note that stays there till the event passed). With the possibility to assign certain reminder times to certain categories of events (i.e. remind me of "birthdays" "1 month" beforehand.
